No spotlight / Spotlight
I need help here. I am trying to give her a cautious look when she emerges from the woods. She has found something. I am playing with light but... I can't decide yet. I like light on the 2nd one it just matches well with the position of the hands and her expression. The first you can see all the details of her pretty face but not the same 'who goes there!' effect.
arghhh. what do you all think?

I actually like the one with no light better because I can see her face. The fact that I can't see her face in the second one kills the feeling of the picture for me.
Did you try to move the spotlight around more to see if you could highlight her face and get the "who goes there" feeling?
I perfer the second one... The shadows on her face make it more mysterious.

I would try a diffrent angle then. Mayhap one that hits the face a bit more, but not so much that you can distinguish the face.
